The pictures have been posted of The Wedding, and all other weekend activities that took place. It was an amazing weekend!!!! By far the best fun we have all had in a long long time!!!! I will update you more after we all get some rest :)

*update* Hey all, well I guess now I am rested, however sick again, it seems I partied so hard I made my self exhausted! It was sooooooo worth it! Friday at around 11:30am the family caravans started to head towards Chatsworth to the lodge. Everyone did the trip in about 3 and a half hours. The Bloodworth clan however did not have it so lucky. After a flat tire, a flat spare, one more that looked like it would go at any time, broken hubcap, sick baby boy, and an interstate exit confusion. They finally made it almost 7hours later! They were the last team to arrive. However, they were in luck, because this was a non-elimination round and they are still in the amazing race :) The award for “not giving up when it feels like all is failing” goes to Amy, Chris, and Dylan for making it safe and not letting it spoil their weekend away.

The wedding reception was great, there was so much CHICKEN WINGS!!, and dips galore. All the young boys had a great time playing in the reception hall.

That night kelly lured us to her room with gifts of snacks, and drinks, only to be surprised attacked into tieing bows around cd’s!! After many rejects and redos we were all master bow-tiers. It was such good times.

Saturday morning Dad Colson and I got up at 6:30am and headed out for a morning hike that almost killed me. The hills in chatsworth are a grueling climb. The blood was pumping by the end, our belly’s were growling for the huge buffet breakfast that awaited us. After breakfast it was setup time, things kicked into high gear. Kelly and the girls all went to get ready, and from the hooting and hollering that was coming from their room it was clear that this was going to be a great day.

The wedding started around 4pm, the weather was amazing, there is no way it could have been more perfect. God truly blessed the skies and surroundings Oct 29th 2005. Buzz and Woody performed their duties perfectly, Woody lost his hat at one point, but recovered nicely.

The reception was fun! The food was off the chain!! We ate like great big pigs. Soon there after the bride and groom hopped in their VW and zoomed off up the hill into the night…..and that’s when the real party started. There was dance moves done on that floor that it had never seen the likes of until that night. Mama, Jackie, Amy, Chris M, Emmett and Danyelle busted a move to a level that you just cant place on any scale.

Once that partied fizzled out there was the after-after party back in the Bloodworth room. There was bonding and laughs that brought a bitter sweet end to a weekend that will not be forgotten.

*update* The Wedding Video has been posted, this is a short 3 minute highlight of the Wedding. Be sure to do a “right click” and “save as” of the link. The file is about 14megs in size. Enjoy!!

I just talked to my mom and she said all is well, it was very windy and rough for a while, but no damage to the house or anything. Lots of tornados and flooding in the area. Dad just went back to the pizza shop to re-open. :)

So tonight the local tv station 13 WMAZ did a small bit on the Houston County School Board being #2 in the nation for Tech Savvy Schools. They came to our meeting today and interviewed my boss and did a couple of camera shots of us in our meeting. I was on there for a split second! If I had known the camera was going to be behind me I would have put a message up on my laptop or something. Anyway, it was fun to be on the news, even if it was just my nose and chin. 8-)

You can read the news bit on their website: 13WMAZ STORY
Next year we will be #1 and maybe then you will see the rest of my face on TV. Until then this will have to do :) Jackie pointed out I need to cut my kitchen, nice J, thanks for the tip.

The Answer is: LUKE SKYWALKER, BABY!

So for those of you who do not know, (it cant be very many) if you have ever played any type of trivia game with me my default answer to any question I do not know the answer to is “Luke Skywalker”. Being a huge Star Wars fan it just feels natural to shout this answer out everytime.
I knew one day that answer would pay off. That moment came last night at 7:43pm as I was watching Jeopardy with Jackie. As soon as I saw the catagory come up I knew the moment I had been waiting for for over 10 years was finally going to pay off!!! You can click the picture of Mark Hamill giving the question. At the top of my lungs I yelled out WHO IS LUKE SKYWALKER!!!!!!

I can now cross that event off my list in life goals and put it to rest for trivia games here on out. Unless of course the question comes up again. :) I wish more people could have witnessed this amazing event, but Jackie was there to share the moment, and that is really who matters most.

So last night Jackie and I were on a mission, we wanted to play some baseball. We have a nice heavy wooden bat, but we needed some wiffleballs. We headed off to the goodwill in hopes to find some cheapies, but this failed. Next stop was the Apple Dollar Store where they had a nice 5 pack of balls. We zoomed on over to Mom and Pop Colson’s house where they have a nice big yard and had ourselves a mini baseball game. Of course first whack of the ball by dad Colson shattered the thing. It was good times all the same, we will be investing in a nice plastic bat for the next round.

Pupa thought she would be big and bad and chase the “bad cat” as soon as that cat saw Pupa it ran toward her and Pupa yelped like a stuck pig with a hot poker. That was a good laugh for the evening. After that it was home to watch the Amazing Race. Good Times.

Pizza built for a Man and one for the Ladies too.

So I am kinda stealing this idea from Joey’s website, but I do no think he will mind. Today we had Mom and Dad Colson over for some pizza. I took some publix dough and cut it in half. I rolled it out flat with my broke-down wine bottle. ( I am told I have a very special rolling pin on the way)
Anyway on the man’s pizza I put 2 freshly cooked Bubba Burgers off the grill and cut them up. I also put about 6 slices of cut of turkey that Amy was nice enough to give me. Put this on top of the fresh pizza sauce and cheese. ( I like to layer my cheese) Cooked it for about 20 minutes. It was one filling pizza that’s for sure!

The ladies pizza was much the same, however it had freshly slices red peppers and tomatoes. You really cant go wrong with publix dough. You can also make four calzones out of these. They are great! After all that we went to Cracker Barrel like big fat bigs and had some apple dumplings. Yes I almost passed out.

Today I finally got around to cleaning up the office. Boy was that a hot mess. I really need to do some cable management. The fire Marshall might have something to say if he saw it.

Emmett got to spend the weekend with us, that was a real treat, we got to watch Sharkboy and Lavagirl. Played a few games one the xbox. He was arrested with some Chinese handcuffs. That was pretty funny. That’s the weekend in the nutshell. Hope you all had a great one!
