10. If you carry one nephew on your back, be prepared to carry them all, at the same time.

9. Have your chiropractor on speed dial.

8. Do not complain about the Christmas music currently playing, it could get worse. It did.

7. If you want me up at 4:30am, buy me 2 tornados and a cappie.

6. Three different flavors of turkey is always better then one.

5. Turkey necks are not pretty, especially when they are being flung around by your mother-in-law after a full meal.

4. There IS such thing as a chupacabra, and it will suck your goat.

3. Bill Cosby was wrong when he said “there was always room for pudding”, but that didn’t stop me.

2. There is in fact 32 feet of noodle in a can of Chicken Noodle Soup, twice as much in the Homestyle can.

1. Giving Thanks can be a lot of fun, and we have a lot to be thankful for.

I hope everyone is ready for a big gut full! I know I am. If you didnt know, in Ireland there is no Thanksgiving, we are just thankful everyday that the pub is open. We do eat Turkey however, or did we eat a goose? For some reason I remember there being talk of a goose for dinner. I will have to double check on that. Our big meal was Christmas time, oh the fun times.

My Mom would hang streamers from the ceiling and hang balloons everywhere, like you would for a birthday party. These stayed up for a few weeks. I never understood why, I just knew it was fun, but now it makes complete sense, she WAS setting the place up for a Birthday Party. (you know, the Lord and all.) Good times indeed.

In my eyes Thanksgiving is the party before the party. Kinda like grace before a meal. We give thanks, and then we eat. So this week we give thanks, and next month we party! I Look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow and this weekend! Anyone got a football? I wanna throw one.

*update* My wonderful wife took me to get a football!!!! So now all I need is a throwing partner.

**Warning, I throw like an Irish man**

Today at Lunch while driving I saw a fox!! It was on Becky Dr. Normally foxes are very shy and do not come out but early in the morning or at night, but this fella was just trotting accross the road, stopped for a minute to have a look at me and moved on. I was kicking myself for not having the camera!!! It was about as big as scooter, had a really bushy tail. It was a little rough looking, but had a nice rusty color coat. I have only seen 2 foxes in my life, one while I was hunting with my dad in Ireland and today.

Happy 1st Birthday Benjamin!!!
