Ohh where to start…..there was the plane ride, boy was it a ride. You would think the pilot was avoiding anti-aircraft fire, it was a rough bumpy ride there. If I have to see “In her shoes” the movie one more time, Ill cry. It played twice on the way there, and was the feature movie at Bellows for movie night.

Ok really, on to the good stuff. After a long flight and getting the hotel, we found a 24hr Jack-In-The-Box, yummmy. Then it was off to bed.

That morning while sitting outside Seattles Best, Adam and Casper walked up jumped up into the chairs at our table and joined us for some company. Who are these to boys your might ask? Well Casper and Adams are father and son, they are 2 cavalier king charles dogs who live in Hawaii. Their owner stops by for some coffee every morning and they sit outside at the table and wait. This was too much fun. Adam was “best in show” for hawaii. He is moving to Japan to keep his owners mom company. They were a lot of fun. They had 2 very different personalities.

We then headed north towards the famous “Blow Hole” that was pretty cool. He walked around Coco Crater and then drove up along the beach. As we were drive along the beach, there was a sudden yell of “What the Hell is that!” (that got everyones attention) before I knew it we were four wheelin it onto the beach in a MiniVan right up next to a giant Monk Seal!

On Saturday, Jackie Dad and I climbed Diamond Head, there was an amazing view of that side of the island from this height. It was a pretty rough climb, but a lot of fun! My legs were like Jello. We then headed to the Farmers Market, this was a great place to get some of the local food and see some local crafts ect… I had a bg gut full with my Bread Pudding and Apple Crepes. yUm! There was even some Fried Green Tomotoes, go figure.

As if one hike in a day was enough we then headed off to Keana Point, this is a 3 hour hike round trip. Momma manned up for this one! You could drive this hike, but from all the car shells we saw off the cliff, I am glad we did not. We ate dinner at Legends Sea Food, there was nothing legendary about it. To bounce back we had a cold stone creamery, and that finised out the night.

Sunday was Pearl Harbor, that was neat to see. Very weird and somber. I learned a lot from that outing, there was a lot I did not know. After that we did H3 which is this huge highway through the mountains. We stopped and saw some nards doing motorcycle tricks on the highway. Momma asked them were they allowed do that? They thought that was funny. Then they did this weird thing with their hands to signal that the Hawaii FIVE-O was coming! Nards.

Ok I think that is enough for one entry. Stay tooned for the next episode of Survivor Oahu.
