Thanksgiving 2007 Weekend Highlights!
Family, Photos 3 Comments »So once again Thanksgiving has come and gone, I would like to say a few things about it. First to my Mom and Dad, I missed you guys, I love you and really wish you could have been a part of it all. I am thankful for you both and all the sacrifices you have made and still continue to make. Bringing Jenn and I to this country is something I am very thankful for. I know you gave up a lot for us, and I have not and will never forget that. You should also know that this family I have married into takes wonderful care of me, and loves me very much. They have their moments where I just throw my hands up in the air and wonder how and why, but I would never tell them that. Jenn you should really get in on this crazyness next year, I will pick you up at 4am.
;)
With that being said here is the Thanksgiving Top Ten List.
10. Amy and I will be signing up for next years Amazing Race. Six stores in 30 minutes all before 7am, hunting for a helicopter that was returned the next day.
9. Benjamin being rejected by the mesh screen door as he hit it at full speed. Thank you for avoiding an ER trip.
8. Getting fashion advice from a transportation worker in the middle of Belks, who knew that line of work gives such good advice. May God Bless her where ever she is.
7. Going to Starbucks and ordering 1 Vinte Javachip and getting 4 Grande Javachips instead. God Bless the evil corporate machine.
6. Kelly makes the realization that her dad is “that crazy man” upon seeing him gathering seeds from parking lot trees.
5. Calling to order the “Pork Belly Meeting” of drawing names for Christmas and respecting the “Pepper Mill” and what it symbolizes.
4. Bob C. showing a manager his disgruntled face when he is told his $25 of $75 coupon does not apply to the items he spent an hour fighting ThanksGiving shoppers for. (Don’t worry he got what he wanted)
3. Seeing Danny hug on Chublinka at Starbucks, priceless. (see photos from Cell Phone on the right)
2. Seeing Papa mix mash potatoes in his workshop, he made an Irishman proud. (see picture below)
1. The Mama kept wondering why her cell phone battery would not last very long, upon investigation it would seem that 40 phone calls a day might have something to do with it, and yes that is an exact number.
