Everytime Desmond goes over to my moms he grabs his drill and proceeds to fixing the hinges on the doors. I am not sure where he got this. I think he picked this up from his papa. There has been a lot of teaking in the new house. I guess it has rubbed off some. He will tell you he will “fix it” and just drills away until he feels the issue has been resolved.
