I dedicate the above video to my little nephew Danny, who we got to spend the weekend with! He is such a funny little lad who just loves his new little cousin Desmond. Here are some pictures from the weekend at the Rutledge’s. It was our first trip to Atlanta since Desmond was born, so it was a big deal. It went very well, and we had a great time! Ohh and I am hooked on Guitar Hero.
This picture is an oldie but a goody! If I could get away with dressing this way at work today I am sure I would. However they are pretty strict about the dress code.
Doing Time……..Tummy Time.

Dearest Desmond, you new favorite thing to do is “Tummy Time” it really gets you worked up and excited. You also absolutely LOVE your mom. You will just talk and talk to her, and respond to everything she says. It is just incredible to watch. You also love the ceiling fan and the tree we have in our living room. You will just stare at it with such intensity. Your mom took some pictures from Monday nights tummy time. I just love that time together so much because we get pictures like this! You really are the funniest little being I have ever known.
Happy Birthday Pops!
Being a Nard, Birthdays!, Desmond, Family 4 Comments »Today is my Dad’s Birthday, his new name is pops, until Desmond makes his own version of that. Desmond and pops have not met yet officially. So we decided to make a little music video just for his Birthday. I think this will be the 1st of many new videos, because we had so much fun doing it. Even in all the madness, I can still find the time to make it look like I have too much time on my hands. :) Happy Birthday Dad, we love and miss you.

The son becomes the father. And the father, the son.
Desmond, Family 2 Comments »The title of this post is from Superman Returns, it is one of my favorite lines….because it speaks so much of passing the torch. Meaning I was the son, and now I am the father, my Dad has passed the torch to me, and it is my turn to prepare the way for Desmond.
Everyone asks me why I wore my Superman shirt the day Desmond was born. I wore that shirt on purpose. I have some personal reasons, but it was important I did. Not because I wanted to be Superman. It is just such a bright shirt, the colors pop, and Superman was a huge figure I looked towards when growing up. I wanted Desmond to see me in those colors and associate those colors and that symbol of Superman with his Dad. I know that is sooo cheezy, but I never claimed not to be.
Anyway, Jenn framed the below pictures for me, and I just love them! It paints the picture of what I am trying to say in this post. I hope to one day catch that same pose of Desmond and his child.
Week 2, Diaper 734
Desmond, Family, Photos 4 Comments »Just kidding about the diapers, but it sure feels like that many. Trash pickup was today, and I noticed their truck seemed a little lower to the ground after they left our house. They might be sending us a letter next week. Anyway, here are just a few photos from last night. As you can see he is just changing so much so fast! One of the cutest things he does is when he sneezes a few times in a row and he thinks another one is coming and it does not, he lets out this noise. Its like a loud sigh, it is very funny and very cute. He also had his 2 week check-up yesterday and all went very very well. He is up to 9 lbs now! He also has grown half an inch!
We are on Target….ready, aim, fire.

So today was our first outing as a family! The doctors visit does not count. Of course about 5 minutes down the road we realize we forgot the diaper bag, amateurs. However it was not needed thank goodness. Our first stop was Dunkin Doughnuts for a nice Cappuccino Blast. A large, split into two cups, because thats how we roll. From there we set our sights on Target. It was by far one of the fastest trips we have ever made. No real reason for that, just wanted to make sure Jackie was taking it easy. Desmond slept through the whole experience, although he did peak open an eye when Dad made it to the electronics section, thats my boy.
Today also marked Desmond’s first bath! He loved it! He loved it so much he tee teed twice in one session so dad got bathed too, thats his favorite thing to do to daddy right now. Its surprise attack every time. Here are some photos to enjoy from today.
A few photos….
Family, Photos, The Baby 2 Comments »Not much to write about….I want to wish everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR! Thanks so much for a wonderful year, as you can imagine this year will be bringing lots of change, and the website will have a new celebrity soon, so I think 2008 will be the year nagoh.com is all about little nagoh.com Here are some pictures that have been sitting on the back burner…..The 1st is of a sunrise one morning a few weeks ago….the 2nd is of the house in Christmas lights. The 3rd is of us and the dogs and the 4th is Jackie and myself doing our Christmas picture. We took it to show little Hogan one day. I think he will like it. The last two are of the nursery. Thanks to all who helped. It was all Jackie’s design, and I think it looks great. Nice job honey. He will love it.
Ok, Back to reality!
Family, Nagoh Stuff 1 Comment »Hello everyone!! Ok so its time to get back to the norm of things and stop boring you all with my shenanigan’s! If you have not heard Jennifer (my sister) has been awarded employee of the quarter!!! Woohooo!! Out of the entire company she is number 1. Nice job Jenn, it comes with a cash award, a pat on the back, and added work load I am sure.
Yesterday Jackie and I had our weekly doctor visit, it went well, we got to see parts of him on the ultrasound, the doctor was a little concerned for the amniotic fluid levels, so we go in for more tests next week. It is nothing to worry about or anything, just something to check on, so be praying for that. He is moving like a little monkey as normal, and loves that mommy is eating all sorts of goodies at work due to the holiday parties.
Christmas is right around the corner! I hope you all are done getting stocking gifts, as it will be a little crazy come Monday night! Speaking of, Bingo is on this year, so bring your bingo face! Mom C will be hosting. I have my bingo gifts ready!
Ohh also, in Christmas tradition, scooter has decided to eat about a 6inch long strand of glass beads that usually hang from the chandelier. We think she thought it was ice, because she loves ice cubes. So be praying she poops it out soon. I guess she thought having a glass eye was not enough, so glass poop seems like an approbate upgrade.
Ok that is all the updates I have for now, so giddy-up.
