Facts:

1. Desmond has shaving cream on his face also.
2. Desmond is reading “Fundamentals of Financial Management”. I am reading Dr Seuss.
3. Yes he really was choking me in that one picture.

Desmond is doing this new thing with his tongue, its hilarious. He likes to stick it out and move it around. I was in the kitchen the other night and Jackie was in the living room watching him do it, and she yelled to me, “you know he gets this tongue thing from you right?” and I’m all “yeah whatever” and as soon as I say that I notice I am txting on my phone with my tongue sticking out. So yes, he gets this new trick from his daddy.

Well its officially summer at work, the kids are gone the teachers are out, and now the real work begins. Summer time is when we really get the big jobs done. It has been stressful the last month getting things in order for that, because now its crunch time. I have 8 weeks to accomplish some pretty big tasks. Plus I also start 3 day work weeks!! That will cut my time in half. But I am so excited to get to spend 2 days a week with Desmond. I have lots of adventures planned for us. That being said, this should water your appetite for what is to come. The script is being written, and pre-production starts next week. Desmond and I are going to have a blast.

4 Months and 11 days. It is incredible that we are this far in and so much has happened. Desmond is by far the happiest, laid back, easy going lovable little guy I have ever known. We are truly blessed to have such a joy in our lives. I don’t even mind changing his poopy diapers. Of course I have not gotten to what we call “Man Poop” yet. When solid food comes into play that just maybe a whole blog entry of itself. Jackie had a case of PPS tonight, she denied it. The thing is, we all deny it at 1st, that’s why its called Phantom Poop Syndrome. Another interesting fact, I get A LOT of Google traffic searches for “Phantom Poop Syndrome” that is hilarious if you ask me. Wow what is up with me and the graphic blog entries, I swear that was an accident. Moving on.

Today was 4 month visit day. He weighs 17.3 lbs. He is 27 inches Long. That puts him in the 95% range. I believe the doctors exact words were “he is a big baby”. He also got his shots, he did really well, just a little holler and he was done. Not even any tears. Yesterday he rolled over. A big mile stone for him, now as soon as you set him down on his back he likes to show off and roll right over. He lets out a big smile too. He knows he is a big deal. I am posting some video of that.

Also today is Mr. Colson’s Birthday!!! happy Birthday Bobby!

I thought I was having a bad day today. Then a co-worker sends me this video and I just felt the need to share it with everyone one I knew. This woman is incredible. After having a child and knowing whats involved in the day in day out duties. To see this woman do it, I am just speechless.

Now I know why people say, “Ohh just wait until you have kids!” When it comes to finding time to get things done, one of two things can happen. You either do not have the time anymore, or you kick it in high gear and you get more done then you ever thought you could get done. Lately I have been finding you can get a lot done, and still have fun! Jackie and I have been working hard around our house. She is the Queen of lists, so usually my “Honey Do List” turns into the “Holy Sweet Mother of all that is Holy in the World List”. I think this weekend set the record for us on what got done. So where am I going with this you might ask? Well, Desmond and I made time for a video this weekend! We gotta keep the fans pleased, and they have demanded more! The number one thing I hear the most from people after they see a video I have made of him is, “you have way too much time on your hands!” Actually no I don’t, but I sure do love my little boy, and finding time for him is easy. I dedicate the above video to my little nephew Danny, who we got to spend the weekend with! He is such a funny little lad who just loves his new little cousin Desmond. Here are some pictures from the weekend at the Rutledge’s. It was our first trip to Atlanta since Desmond was born, so it was a big deal. It went very well, and we had a great time! Ohh and I am hooked on Guitar Hero.

This picture is an oldie but a goody! If I could get away with dressing this way at work today I am sure I would. However they are pretty strict about the dress code.
